Your gift enables us to run holistic programmes for young people whose start in life has been difficult - often as a result of abuse or neglect and who are being raised in foster care. We provide long term support over 4 years at a crucial point in time for our young people from adolescence to adulthood. All young people should have the opportunity to aspire to Higher Education, enjoy exciting careers and developing good careers and jobs - help us by supporting our scholars and empowering them to achieve their potential.

The goal of First Star is to encourage children in care to become more. We inspire our scholars to dream and break through the glass ceiling to enable them to get into amazing careers. Every child needs someone to believe in them and for many of our scholars First Star is the first step in a pipeline of academic support and institutionalised love.
